THE NUMBERS DON’T LIE

I can report that Mary-Lynn Buchanan is right, this woman sure knows her way around the Instagram algorithm. Following her formula I created this photo above and posted to IG. The result is my top post, ever.

Why is this important? It means that artists, particularly emerging artists have an opportunity to be amplified online. Institutions are no longer the sole path to success as an artist. Wider audiences who find traditional art galleries intimidating are now engaging with artworks online and becoming the new collectors.

So when people ask me why I started an art business online. The answer is because I know there’s a gap between traditional gallery and people who love art, there’s an audience that needs to met where they are and there are artists that need a dealer who can think outside the white walls.
