Q and A with Andria Beighton
I adore the sixties and seventies. The geometric and floral textiles and homewares fill me with joy! I love weaving these familiar elements into my contemporary artworks.
Q and A with Vanessa Valero
“My art is a response to the landscapes I carry with me, particularly the Andes, it’s the landscape of my soul.”

Q & A with Kean Onn See
“My life changed when I came across a book, ‘The Woodblock Painting Of Cressida Campbell’. I was spellbound. It completely changed the trajectory of my practice and my life.
I was always drawn to Japanese woodblock prints, but that book that inspired me to carve. And I loved it, I knew I had found my medium.”

Melbourne to Singapore
It was great to see over 17,000 visitors interacting with my team and having the chance to catch artists Ben Tankard and Phillip Edwards painting each day… It was also exciting to see coverage of Ben painting live on the ABC News – one of his paintings sold while it was still on the easel and yet to be completed!

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY
As a mother to four daughters and one of four girls herself, Sydney art dealer Sarah Birtles often thinks of her eldest's reaction to her twin sisters’ arrival, ‘Wow, we got plenty ladies here!’ Sarah started Sarah Birtles Art + Advice in 2020 to fulfil her dream of selling original artwork by Australian artists from her home in the Blue Mountains so she can see her girls every day.
WELCOME JAN SPENCER
It is my great pleasure to introduce Jan Spencer, a Sydney-based collage artist. Having cycled and sketched her way through much of Australia she is the epitome of slow travel and continual observation. Her paper and oil crayon collages beam with intense colour, simplified form and vigour, bearing the mark of her patient manner as she allows places to reveal themselves in an unhurried manner.
